Lots of things come into play when it comes to your spending habits. But have you ever thought about the part the stars play in your financial prowess? Some zodiacs are better at savings while others are better at getting the best price. So where do you stand?
Aries (March 21-April 19)
Work hard, play hard is the way you live life, and probably the way you spend too! Aries are very good at saving a big sum of money and then freely spend it on all the fun new toys they can get their hands on. But just be careful of your impulsive nature and your “live in the moment” attitude, because you’re good at working hard and saving but no so good at planning for the future.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Your love of the finer things in life means you don’t mind splashing out whenever you find something that tickles your fancy. You love money and don’t mind working hard to earn it because you like see the rewarded for your work. You’re good at managing money and probably have a savings for the future. Just be wary of people looking to take advantage of your generous nature.
Gemini (May 21 – July 22)
Your finances are likely to be unpredictable like you. You love fashion but usually find your pieces in op shops where you can get good bargains. You don’t put a lot of effort into your finances but because you’re good at saving, you manage just fine. Be careful, as Gemini’s are known to be big gamblers and love the risk. It can pay off though, look at fellow Gemini and risk-taker Donald Trump!
Cancer (June 21 – July 21)
You are pretty good at staying on top of your money. You understand the value of money, and save regularly. You are resourceful with your spending, finding the best price and only buying essentials. You don’t often splash out, and if you do it will be on a gift for a loved one, making your house more homely, or travel. You may be frugal at times but you love to spend your money seeing the world.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leo’s are driven and disciplined, giving them a great advantage when it comes to budgeting, saving spending, and finding the best price. Once they have saved for an item, they will feel no guilt in splashing out as they earned it. Leo’s will always have the best of everything, even if you know they didn’t pay full price for it, and their generous nature means they love to share their wealth.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
You’re meticulous and this will hugely benefit you when it comes to money. You simply find it hard justifying spends that aren’t logical and for that reason you’re thrifty and don’t overspend. You are good at planning ahead with your spending, and strive to save as much as you can. The only vices you’d see Virgo’s splash out on is something of beauty, or, being a foodie, a delicious gourmet meal.
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Librans are represented by the scales and this is reflected in their balanced approach to spending and saving. While they may have a big savings account, they aren’t afraid to spend up to feel the fruits of their labour. You like to spend on yourself, but you also enjoy planning surprises for your loved ones. However you’re very indecisive, and shopping with you could become a nightmare.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
You certainly have money on your mind, and will work as hard as you can to get your hands on it. Your inventive mind entrepreneurial spirit means you are often self-made success stories. Once you’ve earned your money though, you don’t like to part with it unless you’re buying a cool new toy to show off. You’re more of an earner than a spender but don’t like wasting your money either.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
You have a strong work ethic and enjoy to earn and spend your money. Your adventurous attitude also means you usually like to spend big. You’re good with money and your optimism means you’re never too worried about it. Although it may seem flippant it usually means you have something in the pipeline. An accountant could be helpful for you though, as money management bores you.

Your grounded approach to life means you don’t struggle with your money. Your shrewd and cautious attitude is why you make such smart shopping decisions and you aren’t prone to “impulse shopping”. Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Money isn’t your first priority, but all you need to do to get it is put your mind to it. Once you pull your head out of the clouds and make a goal, patience, focus and perseverance are the key to Pisces financial success. However you’re motivated by emotion, and this can often lend to emotional shopping and impulse buys. Pisces would benefit from having a financial advisor to help them plan.
